Winter Misery Index
There is a thing called the Twin Cities Snow and Cold Index (SCI), which locally is referred to as the winter misery index.
As of this writing our SCI number is 120 for the 2022-2023 winter. It’s a far cry from the record 305 (1916-1917 winter SCI total), but we’ve blown past last winter’s 84. And we still have the rest of March and at least half of April to get through.

Captain Picard Had A Brother
I just finished watching Star Trek: Picard season 2. (Yes, I know, I’m a bit behind.) I wondered why during Picard’s flashbacks to his youth there was no mention of his brother Robert (row- bare in French).
His appearance in Star Trek: TNG was brief, but he served an important factor in Picard’s recovery from getting Borged in the previous episode.

Look! The quote is so highly thought of that no one considered that, unless one goes right to “do not” by making no attempt (try), one will try to “do”. If one does “do”, then it could be considered it’s not a “try”, when one does not “do”. But if they fail, then it can be said they tried to do, but couldn’t.

Tucker Carlson Cherry-Picks January 6
Tucker Carlson is a lying sack o’ shit. He got to select a bunch of relatively “peaceful” moments of trespassing (which is against the law) on Insurrection Day, while barely acknowledging some violence was happening outside.
Carlson and the rest of Fox News’ nightly lying triad (seen above) have been lying about the 2020 Election having been stolen to their viewers every night. They don’t personally believe the election was stolen. Heck! Carlson even hates Fearless Loser passionately and was looking forward to ignoring America’s worst president.
The Swanson fortune heir, also lied about Jacob Chansley (the Qanon Shaman). Tuck claimed the police may have been giving Chansley a tour of the capitol. Tuck also said it was unclear how that pAtRiOtIc insurrectionist got into the building. He said this while showing video footage of the Shaman walking into capitol.

Crazy Aunt Margie Got Harassed At Dinner
Margorie Taylor Greene, the craziest member of Congress, complained that a mother and son harassed her and her dinner companion(s) in a public restaurant.
Shoe’s on the other foot, ain’t it, Margie?
Here she is harassing a Parkland shooting survivor and here she is violating AOC mail slot on er office door at the capitol.
