First Too Much Beard, Now Too Much Face
It won’t last long. The shaved face, I mean.

I conducted an experiment that lasted a little more than two months. The experiment was to see how long and full my beard would grow without me trimming it the way I normally wear it. The plan was to let it grow right through to spring, but I couldn’t stand how shaggy it was getting.
So, I decided to start from scratch and shaved it all off. Right on down to a bare face.
I don’t like the clean-shaven face anymore than the hippie whiskers.
Winter Can Be Over Now

It rained – RAINED! – less than two weeks ago. Then a big time snow storm comes through the Twin Cities this past week, piling on another 12″ (in my neighborhood) of the white stuff. AND it rained today!
Winter can be over now!

OMLOG! I Hope The Dems Win Back The House in 2424

So, the enemy of the people party has control of the US House of Representatives and they are determined to tackle the important stuff. You know, Hunter Biden’s laptop and why Twitter won’t let people (including members of the GOP) share misinformation and lies about COVID, vaccines, and the 2020 Presidential Election on their privately held social media platform.
I thought I would help them out by reading something I’m reasonably certain Rep. Crazy Aunt Margie (R-GA) and Rep. Slow Cousin Bobert (R-CO) never have…
The First Amendment to the US Constitution.
I’ve Been Watching Siskel & Ebert On YouTube

I made some observations about the world’s most famous film critics’ long-running, hugely popular, and sorely missed film criticism TV show. Gene Siskel and Robert Ebert film review show was one of two shows I did my best to never miss. (The other was Late Night with David Letterman.)
They seemed so uncomfortable and unsure of themselves on their very first show. (Watch it here.) Not to worry, they soon developed that special chemistry they had, that sense of competition and snark-filled respect they had from each other.
I really miss that show.
Two Legends In Concert

My wife and I joined a whole bunch of other aged and grey-haired music lovers to watch Talking Heads’ legends Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew perform their Remain In Light show at the Minneapolis legendary music venue First Avenue.
Yes, I know, Belew wasn’t exactly an official member of Talking Heads, but he had contributed to some of their studio albums and had performed with them as part of their live band. So there!
It was a great show!
