Hey! I Got My Car Back

This isn’t our car, but it’s close.

Who knew I could miss that little car so much?

Well, let’s not get carried away, but I was glad to get it back. One big difference between this little guy and the Charger I had been driving was immediately apparent. The moment I set a butt cheek on the seat of the Kia, I knew I was in the car I was supposed to be in…

Hey! There was a Super Bowl!

And it was a very entertaining game.

Which is the most I ask of a Super Bowl. Well, I could ask for a Vikings’ win, but they seem determined never to return to the big game. I mean, they haven’t been back to it in 46 years and, of course, they lost all four of the times they did manage to get to the game.

Sigh.

Why can’t the Vikings ever get a quarterback like Mahomes? The guy knows how to win the big games.

Congratulations, Kansas City. That was some top notch game clock management at the end of the game.

Now, get your fans to stop doing that stupid, racially insensitive Tomahawk Chop!

Hey! There Was A Super Bowl Halftime Show

Floating platforms! It’s magic!

And it was not for me. I’m not a fan of Rihanna’s music. It just doesn’t speak to me. That’s OK, it doesn’t have to.

On Facebook, I predicted…

It took me a minute of watching to ascertain I was correct.

Of course, there was lip-syncing. There always is at least some involved in the Super Bowl shows. It’s probably safe to say most of the music and vocals are prerecorded and the artists are miming along. A friend clued me into why that happens at the Super Bowl.

Hey! The Six Million Dollar Man And The Mandela Effect

The opening sequence is the best part of the show. Never skip ahead!

A couple friends and I have been watching the 70’s TV sci-fi, adventure series classic The Six Million Dollar Man for a while now. It’s entertaining and very dumb. The writing is ridiculous, the acting isn’t great, the production is ok, if obviously on the cheap. However the opening is fantastic!

We’ve been enjoying the show, but we were beginning to think we were suffering from some kind of Mandela Effect.

Nelson Mandela

We all remembered the sound effects whenever Steve Austin would do his bionic feats. The doot-doot-doot whenever he used his enhanced eyeball. The ching-ching-ching when he jumped, ran, or did something bionic with his strong arm.

But only the doot-doot eye sound was being used.

Were we misremembering? Was it the Mandela Effect?

Tune in to the latest Dimland Radio to find out. And to hear about stuff I had forgotten about the show. One of which was that, for some reason, star Lee Majors decided to sport a mustache in season four!

“Oscar, what the hell is on my lip?! Is it bionic?”

Hey! A Photograph Of Farrah Fawcett

And not just any photograph. It’s one of her from her hey day. A photograph I had never seen before until just recently.

She would have been 76 this past February 2nd.

Absolutely stunning!
