Excitement Building As Another Repair Is Done
As of this writing, my wife and I are a mere 8 days from the close on the sale of our old house. It is going to be a new sensation having money. We won’t be rich, but we won’t be living paycheck to paycheck. We’ve always had to be so careful with our spending, pinching pennies for years.
But first, I discovered another plumbing problem that needed to be addressed before the close. In 3 days, we will be turning our keys over and will not be able to find anymore plumbing problems.
Phew!
Tennessee Brando, Disturbing Chant, And A Scammer
I talked about YouTuber Tennessee Brando. He’s a Southerner and he’s liberal. (Yep, they exist!) He talks politics, religion, and generally comments on society and the human condition. (Kinda like what I do. Except Brando has a much bigger audience.)
I covered some of the ground I’d gone over before over the years. Namely the whole “fight for Trump” bullshit. Who the fuck is Trump to fight for?! But I was setting up my encounter with a scammer.
The scammer replied to a comment I left on one of Tennessee Brando’s videos. The commenter claimed to be Brando, but they weren’t.
Brando since recorded a video short for his channel warning people that someone running a scam.
I Bought Some Original Art!
I talked about having a small amount of regret for having sold my original page of art from The Sub-Mariner #72, page 2 to help pay for the kid’s college. It’s only a small regret, but I still wished to own another page. One by one of my favorite comic book artists: John Byrne.
We recently received a chunk of money from my parents life insurance, so I decided to look into finding and buying a page by Byrne. I found one! (See above)
I also mentioned that John Byrne’s work became less details and took on a more quickly draw look. Seeing the page I bought up close, I could see how the artist very, very quickly laid out the page in pencils and then he filled in the details when inking.

An AI created Joe Biden made phone called to New Hampshire voters to tell them not to vote in their primary. Taylor Swift has AI-created deep fake porn images of her posted to the internet.
Most disturbing, Peerless Loser has warned of the potential dangers of AI. I have warned of the potential dangers of AI. I agree with Peerless Loser?!
Maybe I’m wrong.
