Dumbest Thing Of The Week From About A Month Ago
On the show, I talked about the Tesla Cybertruck and some of the problems the new EV truck has been happened since it took the world by ho hum. It’s been claimed it can’t get stuck. It can. They claim the trunk lid will not close on your hand. It will.
And it looks like a stainless steel dumpster on wheels.
So, the dumb thing I saw was a fellow testing the trunk claim using his own finger. First, he tested it with a small stick (on the show I conflated another video in which a carrot was used), which broke right in half.
Undaunted, the fellow put his finger in the path of the trunk lid as it closed. It was supposed to sense the resistance of his finger and open back up immediately. It didn’t. Just as with the stick, the trunk continued to close and broke the dunderhead’s finger.
Pretty dumb.

OK, one of the claims was true, so my pedanticness wasn’t 100%.
However, this next meme isn’t true at all…
I shared the meme about McConnell and Facebook fact checked me! First (and hopefully the last) time that has happened to me.
It was deserved though. There were GOP leaders, including Peerless Loser, who asked the Senator from Kentucky to step down.
This next meme makes five claims. All of them are true. And, yes, I vetted them all.
Claim one, two, three, four, and five. Now, I will say that Occupy Democrats sometimes put out false claims, so one needs to be careful.
The whole point of the DEI hire dog whistle is to allow racists, misogynists, and MAGAs to say Kamala Harris isn’t white and isn’t a man, without actually saying those things. And going deeper, I think it’s their winking way to say the N-word to their like-minded cohorts.
A friend of mine protested the suggestion he secretly wants to use the N-word. I do believe him, but my advice to him is: If you don’t want people to think you are a racist, stop using their dog whistles.
