Rain, Rain, And More Rain. And No AC
While the rest of the country was baking under that heat lamp 93 million miles from earth, the upper midwest managed to suffer from rain, rain, and more rain. It really got to be so depressing. We would get a day or two with sun and then back into 3 or 4 rains of rain. Yuck.
But, as I said, the rest of America was really suffering from high 90º to 100º days. So, taking that into consideration, The rain wasn’t so bad. I guess I shouldn’t complain.
Additionally, our air conditioning went out, so the rain was much better than that hot, hot, heat would be. You see? I shouldn’t complain.
As I write this, a day or two late than I usually do, I am enjoying the nice, cool air of our newly repaired AC. Repaired just today, in fact.
One Struggled, But Told The Truth…
The other appeared strong and lied the whole time.
Joe Biden looked old, Peerless Loser looked orange in a debate that was horribly moderated by CNN. They let Trump lie and lie and lie. They let him not answer the questions they asked. They didn’t ask him if he could explain the the audience what a tariff is. I’d bet 200 bucks the shitstain wouldn’t know the answer.
Joe would.
But Joe looked old. He certainly should have done much better.
I don’t care. I’m voting for Joe.
I care about my country. I’m voting for Joe.
I care about my son’s future. I’m voting for Joe.
That sprayed-tanned, lying, sack of shit, mother fucking puppet of Putin needs to rot in prison for what he’s done to our country.

A Dimland Radio Pedantic Moment: That Damn Geico Gecko
There it is (above). The “Let’s Go” tap no hockey player would ever give to an opposing player. It happens in one of the computer-animated gecko starring Geico Insurance ads. Watch it here.
I also recommended that it might time for Geico to retire the gecko. It never was the best character, anyway.
No More “YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!”
Roger Daltrey, lead singer of the greatest rock band in history, has let it be known that he just can’t do the greatest shriek in rock history anymore. He has the crowd handle that duty when The Who played Won’t Get Fooled Again in concert.
He had been lip-syncing it lately. That’s my speculation! I don’t know this for certain!
I’m OK with this. Rog is in his 80s, let him rest that incredible throat.
Champion Effort
The Florida Panthers are the Stanley Cup champions of 2024! It’s their first championship! Congrats!
The series went the full seven games with the Edmonton Oilers coming back from three games down in best of seven series. Impressive.
