It’s That AI Again
Yes, I know. I’ve been talking about AI a lot lately, but things are happening and people are being fooled. And creative people are being ripped off.

I mentioned the above photo. It’s pretty convincing until you look at the anomalous fingers in the boy’s left hand. AI still isn’t very good at rendering hands.
I appreciate the sentiment of the image. I just wish it was real.
Then I moved on to a more recent AI generated phenomenon. Songs. AI is making songs now. And this one has been fooling people for the last month or so…

It’s fake, of course. It seems pretty authentic though, but there is no way such a song could have existed without having raised quite a kerfuffle in the days of the FBI investigating Louie Louie for dirty words.
That hasn’t stopped some people from thinking it’s real.
It ain’t. It’s AI-generated.
As are virtually all of the songs at this YouTube channel. (View at your own risk.) The songs you’ll find, posted in the last month or so, are either sexually explicit or scatological or both.

YouTube needs to make a rule that all videos produced by AI need to be labeled as such. Is hat too much to ask?
Columbo. Did The Character Really Have A Wife?
Yes. Yes, he did.
There are some Columbo fans who think his wife, who is never seen in any of the episodes, was just a tool he used to set the murderers at ease or off the guard until he could get them in his trap.
I have three pieces of evidence I pointed to on the show that, I think, make it clear he had a wife. Either that or he was out of his mind.
Here are three pictures from scenes or situations in a couple episodes (Now You See Him… & Troubled Waters) that I think prove Columbo did indeed have a wife. I won’t go into depth here. You’ll have to listen to the show.
Counting them down…
