Goodbye, Mom & Dad

My siblings, their spouses, my uncle, his lady friend, my son, my wife, and I all said our final goodbye to Mom and Dad. There cremains had been in Mom and Dad’s (now my wife and my) house since mom died in June 2022 and Dad died last October.
On Tuesday, May 14th, we brought them to Fort Snelling National Cemetery for their internment. They received a military honors, including the Three Rifle Volley. It was very moving.
Time to move on.
I will miss them so much.
21 Films That Should Have Won Best Picture, Fargo, & The Mandela Effect
I could have sworn the Coen Brother’s masterpiece Fargo (1996) had won the Oscar for Best Picture, but it didn’t. It lost out to The English Patient.
Was it the Mandela Effect or did I just misremember?
You know me. Which do you think I would say it was?
I also talked a little bit about some of the other 20 movies that didn’t win Best Picture.
I Can’t Act

Any picture for any scene from any movie would be showing the same sort of thing: People agreeing to pretend together. Kids do the acting thing, too, but they’re kids, who cares about them?
Anyway, it was the picture you see above that really struck me about the whole acting thing. I don’t think I could do it, because I just don’t think I could get past feeling silly.
Acting is a fine profession. It’s art and actors are artists. So, don’t go thinking I’m putting them down. Obviously, actors are able to get past the silliness. Even while acting silly.
Not me.
And Then There’s This Asshole!

It’s sure to be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Peerless Loser really things the fictional character, serial killer, cannibal Hannibal Lector is a “wonderful man”. I think he was attempted to be sarcastic, but he’s not very good at it.
This opinion can be added to my other unpopular about the human stain on our country. I list them on the show.
Back To Normal

Last season saw my beloved Twins finally, after more than 20 years, win a season series against the Hated Yankees. The Twins won the series 4 games to 3.
Maybe they finally shook the pinstripe fever.
Nah. The Evil Empire waltzed into the Target Field last week and swept the good guys at home.
Gah! I hate those guys!
