What’s The Big Deal?

This past weekend, while working at Nostalgia Zone (see ad below), I opened up one of the many, many, many boxes of stuff we have yet to go through. I discovered two old Playboy magazines from 1960.
I was shocked! SHOCKED!
By the decided lack of naked lady pictures.
Movie Recommendation: The Last Of Sheila (1973)

It’s a treasure hunt and a murder game that turns from an admittedly sadistic yet still harmless game into an actual who done it. It’s The Last Of Sheila!
I think it’s a lot of fun and James Coburn is fantastic as the wealthy, mean, cruel, sadistic movie producer making his gang of Hollywood hopeful sycophants jump through hoops to gain his favor and maybe a big job in the movies. There are unexpected twists and plenty of satirical jabs, most of which come from Coburn’s character.
According to the Google, it is available to stream on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Vudu.
Check it out!
Separated At Birth?

I’m not crazy! I have a friend who, unprompted by me, said, “I think Coburn would have made an incredible live-action Grinch.”

See?!
Cool Thing: Fly Me To The… Fargo

It was only for lunch. For a couple hours. But what a blast it was to fly there.
Thanks, Chris!
Welcome To Minnesota, We Drive In The Left Lane

It’s a common complaint here in Minnesota. Some drivers just don’t get the concept that the passing lane is for passing. The recent Road Trip with 2 Chicks reminded me that some Minnesotans just don’t want to move right for faster traffic. It’s weird. Drivers in the other states we drove through seemed to get it.
It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Rock, But It’s Silly
Just watch Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones in the done-on-the-cheap video for Start Me Up. He mugs, he struts, he herky jerks like a chicken with a bad case of hemorrhoids. He looks silly, especially if you watch the video with the sound on mute.
Pete Townshend of The Who on the other hand…
Ok. I might be a tad biased.
